Our Dentists
Dr. Sarah Gibson
Principal Dentist & Founder
Dr. Sarah Gibson founded Gibson Dental with a vision of providing warm, patient-centred care to the Fredericton community. A graduate of Dalhousie University's Faculty of Dentistry, she has practised in New Brunswick for over 15 years and holds a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and sleep apnea treatment.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Gibson enjoys hiking the trails around Fredericton with her family and volunteering with local community health initiatives.
Dr. James Okafor
Associate Dentist
Dr. James Okafor joined Gibson Dental in 2019 after completing his residency at the IWK Health Centre in Halifax. He brings a calm, reassuring manner to every appointment and has a particular passion for restorative dentistry and helping anxious patients feel at ease.

Dr. Priya Mehta
Associate Dentist
Dr. Priya Mehta joined our team in 2022, bringing with her a wealth of experience in children's dentistry and preventative care. She is known for her gentle approach and ability to put even the most nervous young patients at ease, making her a favourite with families.

Dental Hygiene
Our registered dental hygienists are the backbone of your preventative care. They perform thorough cleanings, educate patients on home care techniques, and work closely with our dentists to monitor your gum health.
Lisa Tanner
Registered Dental Hygienist
Lisa has been a registered dental hygienist for over 12 years and joined Gibson Dental at its founding. She is passionate about patient education and helping people understand the connection between oral health and overall wellbeing.

Marcus Webb
Registered Dental Hygienist
Marcus joined our hygiene team in 2021 and quickly became known for his thorough yet gentle technique. He has a special interest in periodontal therapy and works closely with our dentists to manage patients with gum disease.

Certified Dental Assistant
Aisha has been part of the Gibson Dental family since 2020. Her warm personality and attention to detail make her an invaluable part of our clinical team, and patients frequently comment on how reassured they feel with her by their side.
Tyler Bourque
Certified Dental Assistant
Tyler joined us in 2023 after completing his dental assisting certification at NBCC. He brings energy and enthusiasm to every shift and is always looking for ways to improve the patient experience.
Administration
Our front desk and administrative team are the first voices you hear and the first faces you see. They work hard behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly so your visit is seamless from start to finish.
Diane Chiasson
Practice Manager
Diane has managed the day-to-day operations of Gibson Dental since its opening. With a background in healthcare administration and a genuine love of people, she ensures the practice runs efficiently while maintaining the warm, welcoming atmosphere our patients know and love.
Sophie Landry
Patient Coordinator
Sophie is often the first voice you hear when you call Gibson Dental. She handles appointment scheduling, insurance queries, and new patient onboarding with patience and a smile — and is always happy to answer any questions you have before your visit.
